Coca-Cola FIFA Rankings: Check out the ‘Top 10’ African teams

Morocoo remain on top of the African rankings by FIFA as the case has been since the early days of their superb performance in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup where tey reached the semi-finals.

The Atlas Lions have moved two places backwards as they now sit 14th in the world.

Second on the list is Senegal who are ranked 19th in the world. Egypt remain third on the continent but 36th in the world.

Ivory Coast move a place backwards to 38th in the world but 4th on the continent.

Nigeria are 5th, Tunisia (6th), Algeria (7th), Cameroon (8th), Mali 9th and South Africa 10th on the continent.

Bafana Bafana are the only country to move a place higher in the top 10 rankings of Africa. They were ranked 59th in the world in June but are now 57th.

Outside the top 10, DR Congo moves from 61st to 60th in the world as they sit 11th on the continent.

The Black Stars are ranked 12th in Africa but 65th in the world having moved a place down the list.

Cape Verde, Burkina Faso and Guinea complete the Top 15 on the continent.
