While the Nsawam Female prison awaits Agradaa’s arrival to start her 15-year sentence, the court has ordered her to appear on July 30 to open her defence to charges including the non-consensual sharing of intimate images.
We have confirmed that Agradaa is currently not in prison, and this could be due to bureaucratic procedures she has to go through to give way for her to start her sentence.
Agradaa will appear for a final ruling in an ongoing case filed by preacher, Osofo Appiah aka Osofo Biblical. Osofo Appiah accuse Agradaa of assaulting him using individuals believed to be her close associates when she was a fetish priestess.
He further accuses her of unlawfully airing a private video of him engaging in a sexual act with a married woman which was reportedly aired on her former TV station, Thunder TV. Meanwhile, lawyers for Agradaa have filed a notice of appeal challenging the circuit court decision that sentenced her to 15 years imprisonment on charges of defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement. Her legal team argues that the ruling was unjust and that their client was denied a fair trial.
