The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man in the Eastern Region for unlawfully entering a woman’s home in Nsutam.
Mohammed Issaka was fully armed with a machete and compelled the victim to send an unspecified sum of money to a mobile money number.
He is alleged to have sexually assaulted the victim as well and taken her mobile phone and other valuables.
After the victim had informed the police, investigations was conducted where Issaka was apprehended at his location in Sapeiman.
Authorities found sixteen phones and additional items when he was arrested.
Issaka is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
