Black Stars are set to miss the 2025 AFCON to be played in Morocco across December 2025 and January 2026.

The team has won just two points from 12 forcing many Ghanaians to call for many changes in the team includung the sacking of the head coach, Otto Addo.

However, former Berekum Arsenal and Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman Badu has jumped to the defence of the coach.

“If you sack him and bring in another coach, and after two or three games things aren’t going well, what will we do – sack him again?” Badu quizzed.

“Ghanaians need to stand behind him; we need to support the Black Stars and the GFA. He still has my full support, and we need to give him a chance to show what he can do for us”, Agyeman Badu added.

Agyengo Bebeto knows all that it takes to succeed as a Black stars coach after enjoying a successful AFCON and World Cup with the team.

Ghana will play their last two games in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers in November agaisnt Niger in Accra and Angola in Luanda.
