Steve Cooper replaced Enzo Maresca as the manager of Leicester City just 5 months ago after the Italian manaģer was poached by Chelsea.

Things have not gone the way the Foxes want, as they have won just two games from the 12 Premier League matches played so far.

Expectations were very high when the Welsh manager, Cooper, 44, was appointed, but everything shows that he is struggling to help the club achieve their goal.

Leicester City have won just 10 points from a possible 36, sitting 16th on the log with just 1 point above the relegation zone.

The club hierarchy is not impressed with the performances of the team and decided to part ways with the manager on Sunday afternoon.

Leicester was beaten 2-1 by Chelsea on Saturday in the early kick-off, with the defeat forcing the owners to act.

It remains unknown who exactly will replace Steve Cooper as the new manager of Leicester City.
