Renowned gospel musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, widely known as KODA, will be laid to rest on Friday, September 20, 2024.

The private funeral service is scheduled to take place at the KICC Dominion Centre on Spintex Road, near the Coca-Cola Roundabout in Accra. Attendees are requested to dress in all white.

KODA, who passed away on Sunday, April 24, at the age of 45, leaves behind a rich musical legacy. His contributions to the gospel music scene include timeless hits such as ‘Nsempii’, ‘Nkwa Abodoo’, ‘Yapai’, and ‘Adorso’.

The multi-award-winning artiste was known not only for his passion for sharing the gospel but also for shaping the sound of gospel music through his production work.

Over the years, he produced music for several prominent artistes, including the late Danny Nettey, Ps. Joe Beechem, Nii Okai, Halal Afrika, Eugene Zuta among others.

KODA’s influence on gospel music in Ghana and beyond will be remembered for years to come.
