Finance Minister Casiel Atto Forson announced that 150 million cedis which is equivalent to 13 million dollars has been allocated to the Black Stars for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be played in the USA, Canada and Mexico in 2026.

The 2026 budget was announced to Ghanaians on Thursday by the Finance Minister where 13 million dollars is the amount the government will give to the team for the tournament.

Black Stars won Group I of the qualifiers and preparations are underway, starting with the Asian Tour, where Japan and South Korea are the opponents.

Otto Addo’s charges after November’s International break will return for preparations in March 2026.

Ghana will learn their opponents when the draw is conducted in December which will be led by the USA president Donald Trump.
