The Ministry of Finance has completed the relocation of its administrative offices to Kanda in Accra, a move officials say is intended to streamline internal operations and enhance public service delivery.
In an official statement issued on Thursday, February 6, 2026, the Ministry announced that all activities at the new premises will officially begin on Monday, February 9, 2026.
The relocation, according to the Ministry, is designed to improve coordination, efficiency, and responsiveness in the execution of its core responsibilities. It further clarified that the Kanda office complex was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority before the current government assumed office.
The Ministry’s new location is situated on Tumu Avenue, Kanda–Accra, with the digital address GV-002-6511 and postal address P.O. Box MB 40, Ministries, Accra.
Members of the public, corporate bodies, and stakeholders have been advised to channel all official correspondence, visits, and enquiries to the Kanda offices going forward. The Ministry noted that all existing telephone contacts and email addresses remain unchanged.
Reaffirming its commitment to effective public financial management, the Ministry expressed confidence that the move will contribute to improved service delivery and stronger engagement with stakeholders from its new base.
