In the Ellembelle District in the Western Region of Ghana, jubilation started very early for the National Democratic Congress the moment DR Mamud Bawumia announced he had congratulated John Dramani Mahama on his success.
The district was filled with the white, green and black colours of the NDC, with citizens enjoying themselves in cars and on motors.
Sudden news emanating from the district says former Sekondi Hasaacas player Kwabena Baidoo, 19, has kicked the bucket when jubilating alongside fans of the NDC in the area.
Emmanuel Quarm, brother, Charity, sister of the late Kwabena Baidoo, confirmed the news to Soccernet.com.
Hasaacas are yet to officially confirm the demise of Kwabena Baidoo.
On 30th March 2021, Hasaacas signed young Kwabena Baidoo from Ahanta-based second-division outfit Little Barcelona FC.
Baidoo, then 16, joined the Division 1 Zone 2 side on a two-year deal as he was due to continue his development at an appreciable level.
