Four individuals are said to have lynched a 70-year-old woman, Noab Bilatukin, whom they accused of witchcraft at Sangbana, a community in the Bukpurugu/Yunyoo District.
The suspects, Suuk Jakwa, 67, Banyiwoo Ntookwib, 32, Moapya Kwagyip, 30, and Amos Nlaji, 29, allegedly conspired with others currently on the run to violently attack the deceased.
They accused her of being a witch who cast spells in the community and fled the scene after the act. The four suspects are currently in police grips assisting with investigations.
