After a DNA test facilitated by the Brazilian Football Federation(CBF), it was confirmed that Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jnr traces his roots in Cameroon, the Central African nation.
Cameroonians are happy to see the Brazillian forward being part of them with many expressing their extreme delight on social media.
UFC and Heavyweight boxer Francis Ngannou has also expressed his happiness to hear that Vinicius Jnr is a son of the Cameroonian land.
“Brother Vini Jr, we’re impatiently waiting for your homecoming.,” Ngannou wrote on Social Media.
Vincius’ homecoming, as Ngannou said, will be massive in the streets of Yaounde as the entire Cameroonian is ready to welcome the darling boy.
Vinicius Jnr recently was in the news after he did not win the 2024 Balon d’or. His snub has divided opinions, with many saying that he deserved it more than the eventual winner, Rodrigo Cascante.
