The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is reported to be in stable condition after a road accident in the early hours of Wednesday.

The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. at Pai-Katanga in the Oti Region while the King was returning to Accra from Tamale.

Palace sources confirm that the Ga Mantse had travelled to the Northern Region on a private visit at the invitation of the Yaa Naa.

The meeting, described as cordial and significant, was part of ongoing efforts by traditional leaders to strengthen unity and mutual respect among Ghana’s revered institutions.

On his way back to Accra, however, the King’s vehicle was involved in an accident. Fortunately, he escaped without injury and remains in stable condition.

The Ghana Police Service is said to have responded swiftly and efficiently to the scene

While the circumstances surrounding the accident are yet to be fully detailed, the overall mood at the palace is one of relief and thanksgiving, as the Ga Mantse continues to recover and remains in good spirits.
