“GBC’s total benefit from the All African Games was $105,000. Nothing more was paid as a benefit to GBC” – disclosed by Prof. Amin Alhassan, Director General of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.

The 13th-All-African Games was hosted by the city of Accra. The African version of Olympic Games was exciting but the aftermath has been nothing less than disaster.

Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif told Ghanains that $3m of the All-African-Games was paid to Ghana Broadcasting Coporation for their coverage of the competition.

Ghanaians didn’t take Mustapha Ussif’s words lightly with many calling him all sort of names.

The Director General of GBC, Prof. Amin Alhassan on Tuesday surprisingly revealed that they have been paid just $105,000 but not $3m.

The big question is, “Who is saying the truth?” Is Mustapha Ussif and his ministry saying the truth? Is Prof. Amin Alhassan and his GBC saying the truth?
