GES interdicts headmaster for impregnating 14-year-old first-year student

The Ghana Education Service has suspended the headmaster of Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School, for allegedly impregnation a first-year student.

Mr Joshua Vidzro is facing allegations of sexual misconduct involving female students, especially Form One students.

A final year student at the school, who has been confirmed to be pregnant, is reported to have become pregnant by Mr. “Vidzro.” A 14-year-old first-year student has reported that Mr Vidzro took her off campus to engage in sexual activity with her.

The headmaster has been directed by the Ghana Education Service to hand over all official duties, responsibilities, properties and all records belonging to the institution.

Mr Vidzro has been informed to remain available at all times while investigations are being made.
