His Excellency John Dramani Mahama declared that all government appointees can not fly in first class because government appointees over the years have milked the nation.

The news excited many Ghanaians as they praised the president for doing what they have been wishing for decades.

The Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams has revealed that the president’s decision to ban government appointees from travelling in first class is applied to the Ghana Football Association officials.

Speaking in an interview on LUV FM, the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams said, “GFA officials can’t travel in first class just like President John Dramani Mahama has barred government appointees.

He continued, “This should tell you that this is the mindset of the president, and every other person must develop the same mindset, including the GFA.

The president has determined to cut unnecessary costs which has plunged the nation into deep debt. He feels the Ghana Football Association is a place where the football people have been hiding all these years to squander the nation’s money.

“The GFA cannot live in a different world when the president’s objectives and directions are clear. We will sit with them to have that understanding, and I believe they will not kick against any such proposition,” Kofi Adams concluded.

President Mahama has informed the sports minister to make sure Ghana returns to where it belongs in sports and must start everything from the Ghana Football Association.
