“I think critically I can do the job because what is a tactical approach? I’m a License A Coach, and I have a tactical approach. But there are other things to the job that have nothing to do with tactics”, Osei fosu said.

Ignatius Osei Fosu is the chief lieutenant of James Akwasi Appiah, who is the current Sudanese national team head coach.

The duo have worked magic by securing a shock slot in the 2025 AFCON to be played in Morocco between December 2025 and January 2026.

Ignatius Osei Fosu, 38, has learned a lot from the veteran Kwasi Appiah since he took him to Sudan. The young coach has worked as a coach for Dansoman-based club Liberty Professionals, Techiman-based club Techiman Eleven Wonders, and Tarkwa-based club Medeama SC.

In 2020, Ignatius Osei Fosu disclosed his desire to coach the Black Stars one day in his career.

Osei Fosu, who holds a CAF License A Badge, has worked under veteran coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.
