Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of three suspects in connection with the incidents in the GPL clash at Nsoatre that resulted in the death of Asante Kotoko fan, Nana Pooley.

The suspects are former Sunyani West MP Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Agyemang Duah, and Kyeremeh Joseph. The Ghan Police Service investigated and arrested the three on Monday.

The former minister of state, Ignatius Baffour Awuah has been accused of ordering his men to attack Asante Kotokos’s delegation in Nsoatre on Sunday. Reports say he gave his men the green light to attack Pooley.

Others are Agyemang Duah Owusu and Kyeremeh Joseph.

A search conducted in the room of suspect Agyemang Duah Owusu led to the retrieval of two dresses with suspected bloodstains and an MP 23 pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition.

The three people were arrested and in police custody over Francis Frimpong’s (Pooley) death.
