Heart of Lions 2-0 Berekum Chelsea

Bashir Hayford recorded Heart of Lions’ first win of the season after 14 previous attempts. The Kpando-based club secured an important 2-0 win at home against Berekum Chelsea. Aban Ebenezer opened the scoring for Heart of Lions through a spot kick in the 7th minute. Nana Kwame Oppong doubled the home team’s lead in the 17th minute. Berekum Chelsea had no antidote to Bashir Hayford’s tactics in the game as Heart of Lions secured their first win of the season.

Hearts of Oak 1-0 Bechem United

Phobia won 1-0 against Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi with Martin Karikari grabbing a late winner in the 98th minute for Accra Hearts of Oak. Salifu Ibrahim missed a 93rd-minute penalty.

Nations FC 4-1 Nsoatreman

Nations FC came from behind to record a superb 4-1 victory at the DR Kwame Kyei’s Sports Complex. Asamoah Boateng scored a brace and a goal each from Bismark Gyasi and Sulemana Nafiu consigning Nsoatreman to a heavy defeat.

 

Aduana Stars 4-1 Dreams FC

Bright Adjei’s second-half hattrick secured a comfortable 4-1 win for Aduana Stars in Dormaa-Ahenkro against Dreams FC. Kelvin Obeng opened the scoring in the 36th minute for the Ogya Boys with Abdul Aziz Issah levelling the score for the away side just 3 minutes into the second half. Bright Adjei scored a wonderful second-half hattrick to end the year in a grand style for the Ogya Boys.

Real Tamale United 0-1 Accra Great Olympics

Emmanuel Antwi’s 35-minute strike was enough to secure all three points for Oly Dade in Tamale against RTU.
