The first Sunday of the Second Round of the Ghana Premier League will see some fine pairings as Bechem United, Hearts of Oak and Karela all play at home.

Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park will welcome Nsoatreman. The first Bono and Ahafo encounter of the second Round will be an exciting game as teams from the two regions’ encounters are difficult and competitive.

Bibiani Gold Stars welcomes Berekum Chelsea to Dun’s Park in Bibiani. Gold Stars are just a point above the relegation zone and cannot afford to start the second round on a poor note. Berekum Chelsea was great before the end of the first round. The Berekum club put up a stellar performance and is expected to continue it at Dun’s Park.

Karela United at the Naa Sheriga Sports Center in Nalerigu will play against Legon Cities. The 17th-placed team Karela needs a win to move out of the relegation zone. They will seek to build on the 2-0 win over Asante Kotoko in the FA Cup.

Bofoakwa Tano at the Sunyani Coronation Park will play against Accra Great Olympics. Bofo returns to their favourite Sunyani Coronation Park which has been a comfortable place for them. In a difficult fixture against Great Olympics, Tano Bofoakwa must double their effort to clinch a win on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak will seek revenge for the 1-0 defeat they suffered against RTU at the beginning of the season at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale. At the Accra Sports Stadium, Phobia will have the opportunity to beat RTU for the first time in 5 games as the Tamle-based club has beaten Hearts of Oak in their last 4 meetings.
