Week 19 of the Ghana Premier League will commence on Friday night at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon.
Accra Hearts of Oak, after two successive draws on the road, will look forward to winning all three points against Bashir Hayford’s Heart of Lions, to whom they lost 2-0 in week two of the first round.
Ibrahim Tanko will have the first experience of the Medeama squad after he was confirmed as the new head coach of the club on Wednesday when the Mauve and Yellow welcomes Legon Cities, who have beaten Dreams and Bibiani Gold Stars in their last two games.
Asante Kotoko will travel to Nsoatre to face the struggling Nsoatreman. The Porcupine Warriors won their last two home games, which propelled them to the top of the table, and they would be keen to keep their winning momentum in their bid to keep the top spot.
The Western derby will be played at Duns Park in Bibiani when Bibiani Gold Stars welcome Samartex SC. Bibiani Gold Stars must return to winning ways after the shocking 1-0 defeat to bottom-placed Legon Cities last in week 18. The defeat pushed them out of the top spot.
At Abrankese, Nations FC will face Young Apostles while Dreams FC entertains Basake Holy Stars.
Aduana Stars and Bechem United lock horns in the Bono-Ahafo derby in Dormaa Ahenkro.
Karela welcomes Berekum Chelsea in a match the home side needs all three points. Vision FC will face Accra Lions.
