Week 3 of the Ghana Premier League starts on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium with Hearts of Oak welcoming Eleven Wonders. The Phobians won 1-0 at the Tuba Astro Turf in Tema on matchday 2 and will want to continue with a win to move higher up the table. Eleven Wonders, on the other hand, would have won just a point after drawing goalless at Holy Stars and being thrashed at home by Heart of Lions 4-1 on matchday 2.

Sweduru All Blacks will travel to Dormaa-Ahenkro on Saturday to face Aduana Stars. All Blacks’ 3-0 win at home over Berekum Chelsea was exciting for the newcomers. Aduana Stars defeated Nations 1-0 at Nana Agyeman Badu Park and will depend on their fans for another win against All Blacks from Sweduru.

On Sunday, the host Heart of Lions in Kpando Stadium will welcome the winless Bechem United. Bashir Hayford’s side are second on the table only due to goal difference. A win against Bechem United is expected to help them move to the top of the table. Bechem United will look for its first win of the season, but it looks impossible.

Table-toppers Medeama SC will visit third-placed Karela United, where a fierce contest is expected. Medeama has won their two games, having scored six and conceded none. The 4-0 smashing of Vision last week has sent a huge message to the title contenders. Can they make it three out of three?

Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Complex will host Hohoe United. Nations FC’s strength has been at home, and many pundits expect them to narrowly beat the newcomers.

The Wenchi Town Park will welcome Dreams FC, where Young Apostles will expect to record their first-ever win of the season. Dreams lost 1-0 at home to Hearst of Oak in week 2, hence we will look forward to beating the home side.
