Round 5 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers commenced on Wednesday in Africa and will continue until Sunday. Group I has been extremely interesting because Madagascar smashed the Central African Republic on Thursday afternoon in Casablanca. Ghana will welcome Chad, the group’s whipping boys, to the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday. The Black Stars sit third now and must win to top the group before facing the marvellous Madagascar.

Otto Addo’s side faces a very poor side in Chad and needs to take advantage to end their 6 winless run of games.
