Angola has already booked a place in the Morocco 2025 AFCON, to be played in December 2025 and January 2026, after winning all four games played so far in the qualifiers.

The Palancas Negras will play their 5th game in Luanda against the Black Stars of Ghana on Friday night with head coach Pedro Goncalves praising Ghana ahead of the match.

“Ghana is one of the best countries in African football, with wonderful players, especially in midfield and attack,” Goncalves said.

Ghana, indeed, is blessed with forward players that most of the countries in the world will even envy. Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Inaki Williams, Ernest Nuamah, and Jordan Ayew, among so many talented players, are all part of the national team.

However, he believes Ghana’s qualification chances are slim. “Ghana’s chances are very low… It doesn’t only depend on them but also on Sudan, who need just a point from two matches to qualify.”

This is the permutation: Sudan will travel to Lome to face Niger at the Stade de Kegue on Thursday afternoon, and a draw for Kwesi Appiah’s Falcons of Jediane will end Ghana’s dreams of qualifying for the AFCON.

Pedro Goncalves revealed that the Black Stars’ chances are so slim, and he is ready to compound their troubles.

At the Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda, Angola will face Ghana at 7 pm on Friday.
