Week 29 of the Ghana Premier League will be played on Saturday and Sunday across the various venues, with league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars travelling to Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema to face Vision FC. The leaders only have to win to maintain their four-point lead over Nations FC, which sits in second.
Vision FC are just four points above the relegation zone and must battle hard to win all the points to strengthen their position on the table.

Medeama entertains Young Apostles in a game which could already be a dead rubber for the home team. The away side, Young Apostles, is not safe in the relegation fight and will hope to at least steal a point in Tarkwa.

Abdul-Karim Zito’s debut will be a fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi against Aduana Stars. Asante Kotoko is still optimistic about fighting for the title, but it is becoming impossible after trailing the leaders by 9 points. A win is all that the Porcupine Warriors need after the sacking of their head coach, Prosper Ogum, who failed to win any of the club’s last three league games.

Second-place Nations FC are playing at Berekum at the Golden City Park against Berekum Chelsea. A defeat for the away side could potentially end their title aspirations, especially if the Gold Stars win at Vision.

Struggling Legon Cities will welcome Heart of Lions to the Accra Sports Stadium. Bashir Hayford’s side must up their game against the wounded Legon Cities, who are locked in a relegation fight.

Defending champions Samartex, who have failed to put up a fight in the defence of their title, will welcome Holy Stars to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, with a win expected to move a bit higher up the table.
