Accra Hearts of Oak surprisingly lost at the Accra Sports Stadium against Basake Holy Stars on Sunday afternoon. The new boys did not play like new boys playing against big boys. They showed fearlessness, and an incredible fighting spirit.

Prince Tweneboah’s 2nd minute strike made the difference.

After the 1-0 victory for the new boys, head coach of Holy Stars, Abdulai Gazale discussed how Phobia disrespected them.

“They underrated us. When you even hear people’s comments before the game.

“I saw comments on their flyer, saying we should come and col lect goals. If you disrespect your opponents, they will discipline you,” Gazale said.

Hearts of Oak travels to Heart of Lions while Holy Stars host Dreams in their first home game of the season.
