At age 17, Hudson Odoi was tipped to be a great player for Chelsea after showing many convincing glimpses. A career-threatening injury
was suffered from the left winger in the early days of his football, leading to his career stalling.

Hudson Odoi is 24 and it looks like he has been around fore more than two decades. He got a good start to his Chelsea career after making his debut in January 2018. A move to Nottingham Forest, finally, in 2023 summer of, has helped him discover his mojo.

Everything happening this season confirms that Hudson Odoi has returned to his early years when he was too hot to handle.

A return to the English national team since 2019 is not far away from him, considering how he is expressing himself under Nuno Espirito Santo at Nottingham Forest.

Football fans want to see him prove himself at one of the big clubs, but he has, however, declared that he has nothing to prove to anyone.

“I don’t want to prove anything to anybody,” Odoi revealed. “It is about proving to myself that I can still be that player I was – to go back to a level where I knew I was going to score or assist – and be that confident where I know I am going to impact in every game,” he told the BBC.

In the ongoing EPL season, Hudson Odoi has scored 5 goals and provided two assists in 25 matches helping Nottingham Forest to occupy third place on the table. His club Forest expect the English born forward to help the qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
