Veteran Highlife superstar Dada Kwakwu Duah, known on stage as Dada KD, has made a shocking revelation on how he perceives marriage.
The “Fatia fata” Nkrumah crooner, in an interview on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo with Nana Romeo, said that if you impregnate a woman, it is equal to marriage.
Dada KD said, “I always say that if I walk with a woman and she gives birth to my child, it symbolises me putting a ring on her finger. The ring doesn’t speak; the child does, however.”
Dad KD’s opinion on marriage has divided opinions, with many supporting him, whilst others think a man must pay a bride price before a woman can officially become his wife.
“If I get a woman pregnant, if it happens, it’s simply equivalent to marriage,” he added
Dada KD thinks a child in a relationship symbolises marriage, so men should consider their baby mamas as their wives.
Dada KD is considered one of the best Highlife artists of the 2000s, having served Ghanaians with hit songs like Odo Mu Anigyee, Fatia Fata Nkrumah and Ene Menye, among so many hit songs.
