Athletic Bilbao faced Valladolid in week 13 of the Spanish Laliga at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla in Valladolid on Sunday evening. It ended 1-1 helping Bilbao moved to 6th position on the league log with four points behibd 4th-placed Villarreal.

Inaki Williams missed the trip to Valladolid due to thigh injury. He is yet to recover meaning he won’t be available for Ghana’s clashes against Angola on Friday and Niger on Tuesday.

“The extent of his injury is yet to be known, but preliminary tests and Athletic Bilbao’s statement confirm that the forward has an overload in the hamstring of his left leg”, the club officially confirmed.

Atletic Bilbao’s head coach, Ernesto Valverde confirmed later that the striker wilm miss the international break. “I don’t think he’ll be able to play this time because he hasn’t been able to be here with us.”

It is unknown who exactly will replace Inaki as the Black Stars officially are yet to communicate any information to Ghanaians.
