Bafana Bafana will host Ghana on Tuesday, 16th December, in Gauteng, in their final game for the 2025 AFCON. Hugo Broos’ side, who finished in 3rd place in the 2023 AFCON, will aim to at least reach the finals of the upcoming AFCON and are well motivated ahead of the tournament.
Preparations have been so good thus far for South Africa, which used the 2-26 FIFA World Cup qualifiers as the main ones for the tournament.
Ghana, on the other hand, did not qualify for the AFCON 2025 but booked a ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana will not present the main team but rather the B, which is only filled with local players. Black Galaxy head coach, Kasim Mingle, named a 20-man squad on Tuesday afternoon for the friendly against the AFCON-bound South Africa.
