Meccabi Tel Aviv’s slump was very worrying with the club losing four consecutive games inclubing a 4-0 thumping by ajax in the Europa League in Amsterdam.

On Sunday in Round 10 of the Israel LIGAT HA’AL, Maccabi Tel Aviv dismantled Sakhnin 4-0 away from home.

Four different players scored the goals for Tel Aviv. Talented Ghanaian forward, Henry Addo was on the score sheet scoring the third goal from Turgeman’s assist.

The highly rated 21-year-old forward has been an integral part of the team in the 2024-25 season. He has made 12 appearances so far: 6 in the domestic league and 6 in European competitions this season scoring 3 goals for the club.

The right-footed left-winger joined Maccabi Tel Aviv in February 2024 in a deal worth 500k euros, per Flashcore from Zilina in Slovakia.

Maccabi Tel Aviv has moved to second place on the league log having won 22 points from available 30. They are behind the league leaders, Beiter Jerusalem only on goal difference.

Henry Addo has been tipped for greater things and many expect him to wear the Black Stars uniform soon.
