Astute journalist and ExCo member of the Ghana Football Association, Fred Achie has condemned the violent conduct in the Kotoko against Nsoatreman game on Sunday which led to the murder of Pooley.
Frederick Kofi Acheampong represented the Ghana Football Association by visiting Pooley’s family to commiserate with the deceased family.
The Kessben FM journalist condemned the act and revealed the act would deter individuals from attending Ghana Premier League games and assured Ghanaians that the GFA would look into the issue and bring the perpetrators to book.
‘It is a serious thing, Achie said. This will scare people away from our venues, he continued.
“The GFA will look into the issue and bring the culprits to book,” Fred Achie added.
Ghana Football Association has received severe criticism from football fans across the globe for allowing football to be played at such venues where there are poor security measures.
Nsoatre has become so notorious in recent years for attacking every team that visits them. It is so clear that they love bullying their opponents whenever they are playing at home.
The GFA has promised to deal with the club for allowing fans to come to the venue with knives, guns and other deadly weapons.
