Gospel musician, Joe Mettle, is broadening his footprint in the media and entertainment landscape with plans to establish a podcast, a radio station, and a television channel under his newly launched Reverb Studios in Sowutuom, Accra.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show, the award-winning artiste revealed that the newly commissioned multimedia complex was designed with future expansion in mind.
“One of the recording studios, it’s not started, so we created it in a way that it can be turned into a podcast. Even the main studio can be used for photography sessions, TV show recordings, or anything media-related. We are game for everything,” he explained.
When asked if he would personally host a podcast, Mettle confirmed that it was a matter of time.
“Probably, yes—in the future. It’s in the pipeline. I just need to put a few things together before I start,” he told hosts Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio.
He added that the vision extends beyond podcasting: “There’s probably a TV or radio coming up. We are looking at all that.”
The revelation comes just days after Joe Mettle officially unveiled the Reverb Studios on October 4, 2025.
The three-storey, state-of-the-art facility, described by industry players as one of the most advanced creative hubs in West Africa, boasts ultra-modern amenities tailored for music recording, video production, and live events.
The main studio, which can accommodate between 150 and 200 guests, has been built to handle multiple formats, including live audience recordings, television productions, and concert-style performances.
The complex also houses three professional recording suites, a video post-production studio, and a control room equipped for both live and post-live editing.
In addition to its production spaces, Reverb Studios has been fitted with modern conveniences to enhance the creative process.
Each floor is equipped with furnished guest rooms, restrooms, and fully serviced kitchens, complemented by in-house chefs contracted to provide meals for clients and artists.
Joe Mettle explained during the launch that his vision for Reverb Studios is to create a space where creativity meets comfort.
“Every aspect of Reverb was designed to give people an experience beyond just production. We want to provide a space that inspires creativity, excellence, and collaboration,” he said.
The studio’s philosophy, captured in its slogan “Experience Beyond Production,” embodies its mission to serve as a holistic creative hub for musicians, filmmakers, corporate brands, and event producers seeking world-class audio-visual services.
The grand opening of the facility attracted key figures from Ghana’s creative industry, including Kuami Eugene, Akesse Brempong, Cwesi Oteng, Adjetey Anang, Roselyn Felli, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Nii Okai, and music executive Kwesi Ernest.
Joe Mettle, whose chart-topping hits such as Bo Noo Ni, Ye Obua Mi, and Kadosh have earned him both national and international recognition, has consistently demonstrated his commitment to elevating the gospel and creative arts industry.
He made history in 2017 as the first gospel artiste to win the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ Artiste of the Year title, a milestone that solidified his place in the contemporary music scene.
