An Okada rider was robbed of his motorcycle after arriving at a construction site to pick up a customer who had requested his services. Kwablah Wisdom Adetu reportedly assaulted Adam, the victim, with a machete in Kasoa, Kwaboni.

Kwablah reportedly employed Adam to give him a ride home from a construction site after finishing work in the evening. It is reported that upon arriving at the location, Kwablah and two friends confronted Adam.

The victim managed to overpower the attackers and take the machete from them. However, they reportedly threw stones at him and stole his Haojue bike, which has the registration number M-26-GR-3624. Adam stated that Kwablah initially employed him on March 3, 2026, for a journey from Kasoa Ofaakor station to Alico.

Kwablah reportedly obtained Adam’s phone number on March 3, 2026. On the evening of that day, Kwablah reportedly asked the rider to purchase food for him, which was to be delivered to Alico. The next day, on March 4, 2026, Kwablah contacted Adam to take him to a construction site in Kwawboni, near Kasoa.

Adam is said to have taken him to the location and, at Kwablah’s request, returned in the evening after work to pick him up. When Adam arrived at the location in the evening to pick up Kwablah, he was confronted with an attack using a machete.

Adam was able to grab the machete, but the attackers threw stones at him and took his bike. Kwablah and his associates are reported to reside in the areas of Ofaakor, Kwawboni, Alico, Bentum, and Papaase. A formal report has been submitted to the Kasoa Ofaakor Police Station.
