A second-year Communication Design student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has tragically died following a horrific road accident at Taifa.

The student, identified as Charles Sekyi Nhyira, was involved in the accident on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

According to reports, the incident occurred while Charles was returning from a celebration of his birthday.

Eyewitnesses stated that excessive speeding was a contributing factor to the crash, which left him with critical injuries.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Charles was set to begin his third year at KNUST before the unfortunate accident claimed his life.

The tragic news has sent shockwaves through the university community, with students and friends expressing their grief over the loss of a promising young talent.
