Benjamin was stopped at Kwamang 50-50 when officers conducted a search on a sprinter bus that was travelling from Kumasi to Boamang.
A search of the suspect’s possessions revealed a powdery substance that was later determined to be ground human skull, a food flask with what looked like a fresh heart, two fresh eyeballs, and a bottle of fresh blood.
During the interrogation, he reportedly informed the police that the powder was ground skull, the heart was from a pig, the eyeballs came from a dog, and the blood also belonged to a dog.
He claimed that these items were intended for a mallam in Boamang who would use them to treat him for a heart condition.
