Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku has boldly claimed that his office is the best Sporting institution in Ghana and Ghanaians should trust his leadership.

Sports is not football alone but in Ghana, sports is all about football. Athletics, Boxing, Swimming, and Basketball, among others, have been sidelined with no investment in them.

“I am bold to say that the Football Association of Ghana is perhaps the best-organised sports institution in Ghana that you can trust. You can continue to count on my leadership, my integrity, my trust, and the integrity of the Football Association,” Kurt Okraku boldly claimed.

The president’s comments are so funny as they show that institutions in the country are so weak and the government has failed to force them to work.

The Sports Ministry has failed to develop the other sporting disciplines. It is only football that gets attention from the Ministry and it is the sporting discipline that has been encountering failure all the time.

The comments from the Ghana Football Association’s president are fake and must be condemned.

Nothing shows that the Ghana Football Association is the best-organised sports institution in Ghana.
