The boy is only 16 but he plays like a 26-year-old who is on the verge of winning his second Balon d’Or award.

Spain went down to Randal Kolo Muani’s early header but fought back to win 2-1 against the lacklustre France.

France had played one of the most boring football in the tournament with many fans finding it difficult to believe the poor display. They had surprisingly reached the semi-finals without convincing anyone.

Mbappe’s cross was superbly finished by Kolo Muani in the 9th minute to put France ahead. Mbappe nearly doubled France’s lead after his decent effort was immediately charged down by a defender.

That was the end of the French threat with Spain taking over. In the 21st minute, Yamine Lamal scored a stunner from the edge of the box to make the scoreline 1-1.

Dani Olmo’s effort took a deflection of Joules Kounde which ended at the back of the net to complete the quick come back fo Spain.

France was shocked by the way and manner Luis De la Fuente’s Spain quickly turned things around.

Spain continued their impressive dominance before the end of the first half threatening to add a thrid one.

In the second half, France’s flat display continued as they never looked like equalising.

Spain qualified to the finals of the Euros for the first time since 2012 while Didier Deschamps and France wil struggle to believe why they have been so horrible throughout the whole of the three weeks spent in Germany.
