The Ghana Police Service has arrested a 44-year-old man, Kweku Charles, for allegedly killing and burying his 80-year-old wife in their bedroom for over two weeks.
The act reportedly came to light when neighbours and community members noticed that the deceased Esther Bolu, who was the leader and founder of a church, had not been seen for more than two weeks, with the husband taking over the church.
The community started suspecting the husband of knowing the whereabouts of the missing Esther, and they informed the Ghana Police Service.
Investigations are underway by the police to find out why and how the 44-year-old killed the 80-year-old woman.
People are confused about the age differences between the two, but according to the eyewitness account, the difference in age is true.
