Celestine, who has passed away, was reportedly accused by her stepmother, Grace, of consuming the food and informed her father when he returned from work.
According to eyewitnesses, Issah’s father reportedly attacked her violently with a cane, shovel, and a cutlass, resulting in her suffering from internal bleeding.
Although her condition worsened, she was reportedly left without supervision and subsequently passed away.
It is reported that neighbours notified the police, leading to the arrest of the stepmother.
Issah escaped but was subsequently caught by the authorities.
