Super Mario Barwuah Balotelli, 33, is in talks with Brazillian club Corinthians for a possible move after his contract expired with Turkish side Adana Demirspor.
Born in Palermo in Sicily to Ghanaian parents, the former Italian striker has travelled very much in his career and is on the verge of signing for his 13th different club in his illustrous career.
The former Inter Milan, AC Milan, Manchester City, Liverpool, Marseille, Nice, Brescia and Monza among many other clubs forward is in talks with Corinthians president, Augusto Melo, for a possible deal for the free agent.
“Corinthians are in talks to sign Mario Balotelli, the club’s youth director,” Claudinei Alves said.
“Corinthians are prepared to offer him a two-year contract,” Alves said, quoted on ESPN.
“The [Corinthians] president [Augusto Melo] is the one who is leading talks.
“He wants three millions euros per year and a two-year contract. Balotelli’s intention is to return to play for the Italian national team,” added Alves.
