Former Ghana international, Mathew Amoah’s son, Matthew Jnr Amoah has signed his first professional contract with Feyenoord Rotterdam until 2027.

The 15-year-old attacking midfielder came through the Feyenoord Academy and has earned his first professional contract after impressing the club. He will play for the club’s U-17 side in the 2024-25 season.

Amoah Jnr expressed his delight in signing a contract with Feyenoord. “I am very proud to have signed my first contract with Feyenoord,” said Amoah, who has been with the club since he was a boy.

Senior Amoah was part of Ghana’s team that played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup who partnered Asamoah Gyan in attack.
