Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus calmy slotted home to give West Ham a lead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first half after skipper Jared Bowen had laid the ball beautifully to him.

Mo Kudus had started the season in a poor form as the Hammers’ star man of last season had gone 6 games without doing his magic.

Before October’s international break, the 24-year-old scored his first goal for West Ham United in the emphatic victory over struggling Ipswich Town.

Tottenham Hotspur charged and scored four through Kulusevski, Bissouma, Areola (own goal) and Son Heung Min to make the score 4-1 within 60 minutes.

Kudus’ worst moment came when he received a straight red card after shoving Dutch defender Micky van den Ven and Senegalese midfielder Pape Matar Sarr. VAR rightly sent Mohammed Kudus off as his action was unacceptable.

This is how The Telegraph’s Matt law reported feom the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

“Kudus was sent off for a late moment of madness in which he floored Micky van de Ven and Richarlison, and shoved Pape Sarr in the face, in scenes more akin to WWE wrestling than a London derby.”

Mohammed Kudus will miss Westham United’s next three games against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and Everton before November’s International break.
