The Egyptian winger was in a scintillating form on Sunday at Anfield in Liverpool’s hard fought 2-1 win over Chelsea.

Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 29th minute after Levi Colwill had brought down Curtis Jones in the eighten yard box leading to a spot kick. The Egyptian smashed a hard penalty into his right hand side.

Senegalese forward Nico Jackson was put through by Moses Caicedo and he smartly beat the offside trap to calmly slot the ball home for the Blues early in the second half to restore parity.

Curtis Jones unbelievably beat Chelsea’s defence after meeting Salah’s pinpoint accurate cross and scored to give Liverpool a 2-1 lead.

It was one of Salah’s best games of the season as the Egyptians first goal was his 162nd in the EPL history. He has the same number of goals as former Tottenham and Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe who is the 9th all time top scorer.

Alan Shearer leads the list with an incredible 260 goals, followed by Harry Kane (213), Wayne Rooney in third with (208), Andy Cole (187) and Sergio Aguero (184) completes the top 5 scorers of all time in the EPL.

Frank Lampard (177), Thiery Henry (175) and Robbie Fowler (163) completes the top 8.

Salah is the only African on the list as Sergio Aguero is the only South American in the Top 10 list of all time top scorers in the history of the English Premier League.
