The Telegraph has released its annual “Top 30 men’s footballers in Britain today,” and unquestionably, Liverpool’s Egyptian king, Mohammed Salah, is the emperor.

Considered one of the best homes for proper news, The Telegraph won ‘News Website of the Year’ for the second year in a row at the Press Awards in April 2024 so this is a respectable ranking.

The Egyptian forward has been in unbelievable form in the current campaign having reached double digits in both goal-scoring and assist- becoming the first-ever player to do so before Christmas.

Mohammed Salah has scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in just 16 league games. He is currently by far the best player in British football.

Second on the list is Chelsea’s playmaker Cole Palmer. Bukayo Saka, Moses Caicedo and Virgil Van Dijk complete the top 5.

William Saliba, Erling Haaland, Dejan Kulusevski, Trent Arnold and Ryan Gravenberch are the Best 10 players currently in Britain.

The 30-player list contains six Africans; Mo Salah (Egypt), Nicholas Jackson (Senegal), Bryan Mbeumo (Cameroon), Amad Diallo ( Ivory Coast), Alex Iwobi (Nigeria) and Carlos Baleba (Cameroon) are the best African footballers in Britain currently.

Liverpool and Arsenal each have five players, Chelsea has 4, Aston Villa has 3 as champions Manchester City has 1, Manchester United have two players.

Ghana’s in-form Antoine Semenyo misses out on the top 30 Best Players In Britain now.
