The member of Parliament for Asutifi North in the Ahafo Region of Ghana, Dr Ebenezer Kwaku Addo, together with the National Health Students Association of Ghana, has organised a free breast screening for residents of Ntotroso and its neighbouring communities.

The event, themed “Early Detection Saves Lives—Let Us Fight Breast Cancer Together,” is aimed at raising awareness about the disease and encouraging early testing among women.

According to Dr Addo, early detection remains the most effective way to reduce breast cancer-related deaths in Ghana.

He emphasised the need for regular community sensitisation and screening programmes to empower people with the right information and access to care.
