Minority Leader of Parliament, Afenyo-Markin, 48, has accused the NDC of using so many dubious means to win the 2024 General Elections.
“NDC ‘cheated’ us in the 2024 elections, we have learned our lessons,” Markin said.
The incumbent NPP unbelievably lost massively to the NDC in the 2024 General Elections with many of the NPP members still in shock with the defeat.
According to Afenyo-Markin, his observations during the election period suggest that the NDC employed illegal strategies to win some constituencies that should have favoured the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“If you examine the recently concluded elections, our friends [NDC] used various methods to cheat us. When our flagbearer conceded early in the morning for the sake of national peace, they began attacking us and took advantage to engage in unnecessary actions,” he said in Twi while addressing gospel musicians.
“In all this, we have learned our lessons. Now, it’s a matter of preparing for the battle ahead, correcting our mistakes, and I believe it will be well with us,” Afenyo added.
NPP will have a huge job to do if they are to get the power back in 2028.
