“Otto Addo must be sacked because he was given a performance contract and he has failed to perform,” the Board chairman of the National Sports Authority said.

Seth Panwum’s call for the immediate sacking of the Ghana Football Association president adds more pressure on the under-fire boss, Kurt Okraku.

Ghana failed to win any of the 6 games they played in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers; losing three and drawing three. Otto Addo’s team ended the campaign with an embarrassing 2-1 home defeat against Niger, the lowly side in the group. The Black Stars unbelievably finished bottom of the Group winless.

The head coach made it clear that he was never going to resign because he hoped he could turn things around in his post-match conference.

National Sports Authority chairman has opined that Otto Addo must be sacked because he was given a performance contract.

Many Ghanaian veteran Football administrators, George Afriyie, Dr Nyaho Tamkloe, Alhaji Grunsah, Kojo Fianoo and Abbey Pobee, have called for the dismissal of Kurt Okraku, and the NSA boss has joined that train.

Ghana will return to action in 2025 March for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
