A 27-year-old man named Sylvester Sowah has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend after she threatened to end their relationship due to his smoking habit.
This incident took place in Obuase Abompe, located in the Ashanti Region.
Charlotte Obeng, also known as Biggest Abena, reportedly informed Sylvester that she was tired of breathing in marijuana smoke, which was impacting her health.
Later that day, at approximately 10 PM, Abena was discovered deceased in the suspect’s room.
He is said to have gone into hiding after the crime was committed.
He was apprehended at the Kyekyewere barrier while trying to get into a car to go to another place.
Sylvester has since stated that he was not responsible for the act.
