“Olympique Lyonnais announces the definitive acquisition of Ghanaian international striker Ernest Nuamah, from RWDM, for a period of four years, until June 30, 2028. The transfer amount is €28.5 million,” the seven-time French Ligue 1 champions revealed officially in a statement on their official website.
Lyon have announced the capturing of Ernest Nuamah on a permanent transfer from RWD Molenbeek for a fee of €28.5 million.
Nuamah, 20, is a product of the famous Right To Dream Academy in Ghana. He joined Nordsjælland youth team in 2022 and has soon been signed by Lyon where he enjoyed a fruitful loan in the 2023-24 season.
The Black Stars forward is highly rated among the top young talents in world footbal so it’s not surprising to see Lyon move for him.
Olympique Lyon will expect to qualify for the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League after missing their prestigious competition in recent years.
