Many Ghanaians have called for the sacking of Otto Addo, and the coach has revealed that he is not afraid to lose his role as the head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana.

“I’m not afraid of anything. I fear only God. I’m very sure we will win, and your question will be of no use,” Otto Addo said ahead of Mali’s clash on Monday night at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars have failed to hit top form since Otto Addo’s return. The former Black Stars’ winger replaced Chris Houghton after the disastrous 2023 AFCON, where Ghana failed to win a single match against any of Cape Verde, Egypt or Mozambique.

It has been nearly two years since the senior national team failed to play to the satisfaction of Ghanaians, and it can not afford to miss the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
